"Once again, thank you for an incredibly informative evening.  My time was well-spent.  The first thing I did when I went home was put my newly purchased chemicals in the pool, sweep the sides and the "dead spots" and backwash!  Now I understand the importance of backwashing, all about pH, alkalinity, and circulation.  My bet is that I won't need to purchase Banish this summer!

I also enjoyed the explanation of the equipment.  This was very helpful to see the inside of the filter as well as the motor. 

My new thermometer reads 82 degrees...I can't wait to swim in my sparkling pool this weekend!
